Mission outreach in Uganda’s refugee camps

There are places that stay in your heart forever, even after you return home. Africa is one of them.

This ministry began in an amazing way exactly ten years ago and continues to this day. It is impossible to forget the children’s smiles, their little hands, and their eyes, which hold so much pain and hope at the same time.

On October 12, we are heading back to Africa. This time, our team includes 16 people. Among us are two pastors, two deacons, two youth leaders, two married couples, a mother and daughter, three doctors, and two nurses. We also have three people named Sasha! Our youngest team member is 20, and our oldest is 60.

Ahead of us are days filled with encounters, prayer, and care for people facing so many needs. Our outreach will include:

🤍 women’s ministry;
🤍 men’s ministry;
🤍 children’s ministry and Sunday school;
🤍 medical care;
🤍 feeding the hungry;
🤍 installing solar panels;
🤍 and, above all, bringing people hope and God’s Word.

Behind these words are real lives: children growing up in extreme poverty; children who have suffered abuse; girls who are still children themselves but have already become mothers; boys who face war, drugs, and the struggle to survive far too early in life. Women who carry the responsibility for their homes, their children, and their entire families while having almost nothing themselves. And these are only some of the hardships they face.

We are going to do more than witness these needs. We are going to serve: to feed the hungry, help the sick, bring light where there is none, embrace a child, and share about God. To create a place where children can attend Sunday school and hear God’s Word. To support local churches and those who serve every day in very difficult circumstances.

That is why I want to ask you today:

🙏 JOIN US AND BE PART OF THIS MISSION!

Above all, please pray:

  • for the children and their future, that they will attend Sunday school and open their hearts to God;
  • for local churches and ministry workers;
  • for our medical outreach and everyone we will help;
  • for food for those who are hungry;
  • for the installation of solar panels;
  • for our team’s health, protection, and safety;
  • for God’s wisdom for every team member;
  • that people will see God’s love through our ministry.

We also need financial support for this trip. No act of kindness is too small when it is offered with love. Your contribution may bring a child a moment of joy that will be remembered for years to come.

We do not know how many more times God will allow us to return to Africa. The world is changing quickly. But we know one thing: these children’s eyes will remain in our hearts forever.

If we can bring hope to even one child, help one sick person, support one mother, or give one person the opportunity to hear about Christ, then our journey will have been worthwhile.

October 12 — we set out again! 16 people. One team. One purpose: to serve.

We would be deeply grateful for your prayers and support. If God places it on your heart, please join us in this mission.

May this mission begin right here—with our prayers.
