Ministry Leaders Meet with the Executive Committee Ahead of the Convention

Each year, one week before the convention, members of the Executive Committee meet with the Association’s ministry leaders. This year’s meeting took place on October 17 at the Association’s office. Nearly all department leaders attended, except those who were out of town. Olga Avetisova, head of the Information Ministry, joined via Zoom.

The meeting opened with a devotional based on Romans 1:13–16, shared by Executive Committee member Alexander Ivanov, pastor of House of Prayer Church. He noted that, like the Apostle Paul, many of us encounter various obstacles as we serve the Lord wherever God has placed us. Yet the central emphasis of this passage is on readiness: “I am ready!” Alexander Ivanov thanked the department leaders for their willingness to serve and wished them God’s continued blessings.

Association President Alexander B. Pronin then led a brief seminar titled “A Leader’s Humility: The Strength That Sustains Success.” The seminar materials are available through the accompanying link.

The remainder of the meeting was devoted to reports from ministry leaders and a discussion of their plans for the future.
