Association Ministry Leaders’ Meeting
The regular meeting of the Association’s ministry leaders was held on August 14 at the Association office. Most of the ministry leaders attended in person, while five joined the meeting via Zoom.
S. Pronin, Director of the Education Ministry, opened the meeting by reading Psalm 115:1: “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.”
In his brief devotional message before the group prayer, Sergey Alexandrovich noted that we sometimes tend to forget that no matter how many talents and abilities we may possess, without the Lord we can do nothing. Whether everything is going well in our ministry or we are facing difficulties and challenges, in all circumstances we should give glory to the Lord. He is worthy of praise not only in times of success but also when we experience setbacks and trials.
A. Pronin then led a brief but very helpful seminar entitled “A Leader’s Responsibility: It’s on Me.” Following the seminar, the ministry leaders took turns presenting updates on the work their ministries had accomplished during the reporting period.
The Association’s ministries carry out a wide variety of important work. Some of their activities and areas of ministry are featured in the Association’s monthly newsletters, in radio programs broadcast on Ethno FM Radio at 87.7 FM on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:15 p.m., and in videos posted on the Association’s YouTube channel.
More comprehensive information about the work of each ministry will be presented in their annual reports, which are scheduled to be published in October in the Almanac on the 88th Convention website.Olga Avetisova
