On Saturday, August 2nd, House of the Gospel Church in Fresno hosted an exciting Back-to-School event—not only for our children, but for our entire neighborhood. God has placed our church in a strategic location surrounded by low-income families, many of them Hispanic, and we were blessed to be a blessing to our community.

By the grace of God, the Seattle Slavic Baptist Church continues to actively carry out its ministry. We have two services a week: the main service on Sunday and the Bible study on Tuesday. In addition, we try to regularly hold sisters’ spiritual and edifying conferences, on average one conference every two months.

An unusual but powerful gathering took place at Forward Church in Irvine on August 10th. Special guest speaker Albert Black, executive director of Recovery in the Pines, shared his testimony of his journey of faith and redemption. He deeply touched the hearts of the congregation’s members as he shared how God’s grace can transform lives.
