Retreat for Those Wounded in the War in Ukraine

From August 16 through August 21, a family retreat was held in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine for people who have suffered various injuries as a result of the war in Ukraine.

Thanks to the financial and prayer support of the Association’s Mission Ministry, House of the Gospel Church in Fresno, and other churches of the Association, 95 participants, in addition to the ministry team, were able to attend the retreat. Approximately 95 percent of the participants are not churchgoers.

Each day, they hear the Word of God and receive much-needed spiritual, emotional, and moral support from counselors, chaplains, and the retreat leaders.

Please pray for these people who have been deeply wounded — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
