How often it is that we hear a truth, agree with it at first glance, and then neglect to look into our own hearts. Many of you have shared that it’s been helpful to analyze your own life when specific questions are brought up during the sermon.
With this in mind, the goal of this letter is to look at a few questions that touch on various parts of a Christian’s life. For there to be a purpose with these questions, you’re recommended to grade yourself on a scale of 1-10. A 1 means that all is bad and a 10 means you’ve reached perfection.
Then look at those questions that have the lowest numbers—this is what you should perhaps give some attention. Be sure not to make this a legalistic and hypocritical self-affirming activity, but rather, it should be an instrument of grace and humility in your search for ever closer relations with God.
