On Saturday, March 29th, 2025, the women of Good News Church, Tacoma, along with friends from near and far, came together for an incredible Women’s Conference. The day was filled with heartfelt worship, sweet fellowship, and powerful teaching that pointed us back to saying “Here I am” to God. We were so blessed to have Dennise Glenn with us, an amazing speaker and author, who shared deep biblical truth, personal stories, and real-life encouragement that hit home for so many of us.

Wars and fights are not happening exclusively on a national level. Many times, aggressions and wars are fought within families, and are accompanied by suffering, wounds, and even death—the death of the family. How can this be avoided?
On March 6 to 17, I had an opportunity to visit Spain. Over the two Saturdays and Sundays I had to be in two different cities: Barcelona and Valencia. I had two main goals for my trip. The first goal was to teach a session at the Blagovest Institute of Ministry in Barcelona. The second one was to have the very first leadership meeting in Spain to organize an association of Evangelical churches of this country.
On February 15, 2025, married couples from Good News Church gathered for a special evening at our “Heart to Heart” event—a night designed to strengthen relationships, deepen communication, and celebrate the gift of marriage.

Once, I was deeply shaken by a secular movie about a real person. Nazi Germany, 1939… The forced registration of all Jews begins, along with their relocation to special ghettos. It wouldn't be long before tens of thousands would be sent to concentration camps and gas chambers…
During the February 2025 meeting, the Missions ministry and the leaders of the Association identified six new goals for the missionary ministry which they are planning to support throughout the year: Spain, Moldova, Ukraine, Kenya, Uzbekistan, and Argentina.
On a beautiful morning of January 25, over 120 women gathered together for the Good News Church Women’s Prayer Breakfast, an event that blended community, worship, and powerful moments of prayer. The room was filled with warmth, laughter, and a shared commitment to grow in faith as we spent the morning enjoying breakfast, engaging in meaningful fellowship, and uplifting one another in prayer.

This is the holiday of celebrating “the appearance of grace and the love for mankind by our God and Savior!” (Titus 3:4) This is a celebration of God’s saving grace for all people! (Titus 2:11) This is the manifestation of God’s love, “which was demonstrated in that God sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him” (1 John 4:9).
Recently, United the Movement core team took the opportunity to gather together for a retreat on November 8th to 10th in order to reflect on the past year and plan for the future of this ministry department.

Our women’s retreat was designed to bring women together for spiritual growth, personal reflection, and fellowship. We provided a safe and supportive environment where women could step away from their daily routines, deepen their relationship with God and one another, and focus of specific areas of their spiritual journey.

On October 26, 2024, Good News Church in Tacoma, WA, hosted the "Go Together" Christian Parenting Conference, a powerful day of teaching, master classes, and fellowship designed to strengthen families in God's purpose for marriage and parenting.
The Men's Breakfast was held on October 19th at Good News Church, Tacoma, WA. Radik Tsapkov, a new immigrant and pastor from Odessa, inspired attendees with his message during the morning session.
On November 6 through 8, thanks to the initiative by the International Mission Board, the IMB was able to have a first ever Slavic Leadership Summit for the Slavic Associations in the U.S. The Logistics Director, John Barnett and a Catalyst of European Mobilization, Mick Stockwell played a critical role in making this meeting a reality.
Another convention became part of the Pacific Coast’s Association’s history! As I look back at such an important event in the life of PCSBA’s churches, I would like to point out how well the convention’s program was organized, including the time management, as well as the quality of the seminars and sermons! They were all focused on the theme of the seminar: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”. The overall theme was based on Isaiah 6. Each speaker focused on various aspects of the calling, as well as the readiness of the followers of Jesus Christ in response to God’s call to active ministry.

On October 5, Second Slavic Baptist Church in Sacramento hosted a worship night and an auto show. Close to 250 people were able to come! The main speaker was a guest from Irvine, Bogdan Kipko.
On September 14, 2024, the Living Stones Church hosted a conference for Sunday School teachers. This conference was organized by the PCSBA’s Sunday School ministry.
On September 28, 2024, from the early morning until the very evening, Christian hymns were resonating at the local park in Yuba City. This cozy town is located in the center of Sutter County in California about 40 miles from Sacramento. It was founded in 1849 on the land that belonged to John Sutter, and therefore, the county bears the name of its original owner. According to 2010 data, Yuba City has about 64,925 people of different nationalities. Now you know a brief historical background of Yuba City.

Just one month remains until the next Pacific Association spiritual and edifying convention. If all goes as planned, the convention participants (and this can be anyone) can expect sermons during evening services from pastors from Washington, D.C., interesting seminars on Saturday afternoon, participation of the choir and orchestra from the Fountain of Life Church, Mukilteo, Washington, together with singers and musicians from churches in Sacramento.
From August 11 to 16, a family camp "Obnova" (“Renewal”) was held for soldiers, their wives and children in Ukraine, in the Chernivtsi region, at the Christian base "Source of Life" in the village of Boyane. Thanks to the team of missionaries of the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association, the House of the Gospel church (Fresno) and the organization Stop the War in Europe for organizing it.
On September 15, Slavic Evangelical Baptist Church of San Diego celebrated their 50-year anniversary. We join in congratulating them on such a memorable date and wish them more of God’s blessings in the future. May they grow in the knowledge of the Lord, grow in numbers, and diligence in spreading the Gospel to those around them. May the light of God’s love shine through the members of this church and impact those who do not yet know Jesus Christ, and may He lead them to eternal life with God.
On August 29 to September 2, there was a United Christian youth camp at Trinity Lake. Over 600 young men and women came from various churches of the Pacific Coast’s Association, and by God’s mercy about 100 people came to God in their prayer of repentance.

This year for the first time our church, House of the Gospel, hosted a Back to School event for our neighbors. This event included partnerships with multiple different ministries and other churches. The goal of the event was to give away necessary school materials to children in need and to share the gospel. The materials included backpacks, notebooks, and writing utensils. We also offered to fix bicycles for free to anyone who brought one and arranged a few barbers from our church to provide free haircuts.
The Honolulu Slavic Church (HSC) sends its warmest greetings from the Hawaiian Islands to the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association (PCSBA) churches and wishes all brothers and sisters in Christ abundant grace from our Lord and Savior!
God continues to save people and add them to His Body. The Revival Church had a special church celebration on August 10 to baptize 17 people of various ages and were witnesses of their testimony of entering into the covenant with the Lord.
On August 2-3, First Slavic Baptist Church hosted a semi-annual pastors’ meeting. Dr. Valentin Siniy, who is a provost of the Tavrich Christian Institute (Ukraine) was the main speaker.

The first session of the Children's Camp "The Dream”, organized by the Bryte Church for immigrants living in the USA for no more than 2 years, took place from June 2 to 8, in Grass Valley, California. The camp was organized so that newly arrived immigrants had the opportunity to send their children to a summer children's camp. Camp "The Dream" is intended for all Russian-speaking immigrant children from 8 to 11 years old. Most of the children in the camp were from non-religious families. 75 children attended the camp. The second session of the Camp "The Dream" will take place from July 7th to 13th and will be organized by the Second Slavic Baptist Church of Sacramento.

Pacific Coast’s Association is inviting women to an annual festive dinner which will take place at Bryte Church on August 10. All women from various churches and ministries in Sacramento are invited, as well as those who would like to find their place in ministry.
We recently had the privilege of going on a mission trip to Uganda and South Sudan. This journey has been transformative, filled with moments of deep learning, service, and spiritual growth. I want to share with you some of the key experiences and learnings we had during this wonderful trip.
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, members of Grace Avenue Bible Church, Sacramento, gathered 2 hours earlier than usual to participate in the baptism and support it with their presence, singing and prayers. The service took place on the lawn in the church yard. Ten people were baptized.
Every summer across the United States most churches hold a kid’s camp called Vacation Bible School (VBS). The purpose of VBS is to minister children of the home church and create an opportunity of outreach to neighboring communities with the message of the Gospel. For five days, children are learning God’s truth through songs, lessons, crafts, sports and even drama skits. In most churches it is the largest evangelical event of the year that requires involvement of the whole church.
On June 6-9, Grace Avenue had a youth camp with Living Stones, First Slavic, and House of the Gospel. The camp took place at Rollins Lake and it was an awesome and fun time of fellowship with our friends in nature.

Dear brothers and sisters! Happy Trinity Day! The day that the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles is a unique event of the birth of the church, and beginning of the ministry of the Holy Spirit which continues to this day.
From June 23 through July 8, the Second Slavic Baptist Church, supported by many other Christians, is going to run an annual reunion camp for about 200 widows and 320 orphans in Ukraine. These are women and children who have tragically lost their husbands and fathers because of the ongoing hybrid war in the Ukraine.
On April 28, thirty young men and women were baptized during a joint service of the Russian and English church service at Grace Family Church. There were a lot of guests, a beautifully-decorated stage and baptistry, and special testimonies of those who were getting baptized, which made this church service very joyful and special.
At the end of April, two pastors from Grace Family Church, Vasiliy Khripunov, who is the associate director of the PCSBA’s Missions Ministry, and Andrey Kobzar went on an extended trip to Uzbekistan, Poland, and Spain.
In 1952, a joint resolution of the United States Congress established a National Day of Prayer. In 1988, President Reagan set that day as the first Thursday in May. On this day, Americans from all walks of life join together around the country to call out to God for Him to work in and through our country. This Thursday, May 2, we ask you to join us for a day of prayer.

In his interview, the president of the “Coram Deo” International Counseling Institute, A. Tolochyants, and one of the professors, S. Drodz (pastor, a vice-chairman of the Union of ECB in Belarus, and the dean of the Minsk Theological Seminary), shared about the distinctives of Coram Deo compared to other counseling programs, and how it has impacted them on a personal level.
God continues to use this family's ministry to save the Slavs who have migrated to Valencia and the surrounding cities in Spain. Read Alik Shipuk's letter about what exactly they do and what results the Lord gives in their ministry. The letter is in Russian only.
