Life at Sierra Pines Camp is moving along at a fast pace this winter! We are glad to be able to report that a new camp manager is now in place at the camp! Vitaliy’s expertise in camp maintenance is a great asset and we are glad to have him and his family join us. Additionally, a husband-and-wife team relocated to the camp to perform janitorial and custodial services. This will ensure that that we are able to accommodate a greater number of AirBnB customers at the camp!
Several policies have been implemented or clarified recently:
- Lead pastors and youth pastors of the PCSBA churches (or churches with similar values and statement of faith) are now able to stay at Sierra Pines up to 2 nights per year at no cost! We hope this will be a great opportunity to serve pastors and their families - and we hope that they would love the experience and bring back their congregations along next time they come back!
- AirBnB reservations are being used as a supplement to group reservations. Our passion has always been church groups and we invite your church to stay at Sierra Pines Camp next time you plan your retreat, seminar or a group activity!
- We are currently operating at full capacity and are booking events throughout 2021.
- A new online invoicing and payment system has been implemented for our customer’s convenience. We hope this will improve your experience with us!
We also have a significant need we would like to ask you to pray about and, if you are able, to help with time and additional resources. On 1/20/2021, a very large tree fell on the roof of the lodge, damaging the structure and causing significant amount of damage. We are confident we will be able to make the necessary modifications to continue hosting groups at the camp. However, we are praying for donations of time and money in order to restore it as quickly as possible.
